Libraries Still Can’t Purchase or License Best Sellers as Ebooks

In its latest pricing comparison, Douglas County Libraries reports on consumer pricing and library pricing for the top 25 bestsellers (according to USA Today). The comparison extends from traditional print book formats to ebooks.

Notable: 19 of the bestsellers listed cannot even be licensed or purchased by libraries as ebooks.

Even if it weren’t Halloween today, that’s pretty scary.
